“Don’t worry about what the world needs.  Ask what makes you come alive and do that, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” ~Howard Thurman

Hellooo there! Did I spark your curiosity? Here’s a little self intro then...

I’m Lucky (and in case you’re wondering, it is my real name), a full time advertising account manager, part time lifestyle blogger, freelance writer, make-up junkie, and fangirl to music, movies, and many other things in between.

Writing has been my lifelong passion and I believe I wouldn’t be who I am now if not for it. I’ve been writing since I was 9, became associate editor and journalist of the year in senior high and got a degree in Mass Communications because of my love for it. I did not take it as a career though because I didn’t like being forced to write about something I can’t relate to or don’t believe in. Hence, I pursued it as a hobby through my personal journal, or intermittent blogging stints. But even so, writing always followed me, whether it was when I was in the field of PR, or now that I’m in advertising.

This blog was born as a creative venture that I hope would challenge me to write more regularly about things, places and other topics that matter to me. I love telling stories, and I want to be able to share my personal experiences, opinion, and beliefs to other people, and in the process amuse and inspire them to pursue what they love as well.

Specifically, I love writing about Korean culture and tourism. I started my love affair with Korea in 2010, and have since thought of it as my second home. I’ve met many friends, have been to many places and experienced a lot of wonderful things because of it. Hence, my interest for anything related to Korea, be it Kpop, Kdrama, Hallyu, Hangul, cosmetics, and Hansik/Korean food (among may others!), have grown immensely over the years.

Visiting Korea also made me realize my love for travel and photography. I simply want to visit more countries, take lots of pictures, and get to know different types of culture. That’s why I recently started a travel fund and vow to invest in a good camera, and visit at least 1 domestic and 1 international destination each year. Who knows, maybe it’s not yet too late to make my dream of travelling around the world come true, right?

When I’m not busy with my day job, freelance writing or blogging, you can find me reading a good book, shopping for clothes and cosmetics, hanging out at a café with my sister, or listening to music and singing my heart out.

I like joining raffle contests and online events simply because I live up to my name, and have won quite a few, except for the lottery. :P I look forward to writing my own book, owning a coffee shop, and trying out yoga someday.

I hope I was able to share something useful to you through this blog, and I hope you enjoyed reading my posts, as much as I do writing them. Thank you very much for visiting! I’m excited to share more of my adventures and discoveries with you :)
